Every 12 seconds, someone dies as a result of being overweight or obese. We all know diet and active lifestyle is the answer, not expensive perpetual drugs promoted by large pharma, yet traditional means are not solving this problem.
Our goal is to reverse this obesity trend by educating populations of people at once via trainers, coaches, dietitians and nutritionists with large and small social audiences.

With his expertise in marketing and business development, Ken’s passion lies in helping clients scale their business and achieve maximum impact. When he's not meeting with his team or growing MacroActive, you'll find Ken on the phone, pacing the boardroom or an airport lounge, passionately coaching our top trainers on their growth strategies. With over 25 years experience growing and scaling businesses, Ken finds MacroActive to finally be the thing that combines his deep knowledge of digital marketing and online sales, with truly meaningful work. John is the driving force and spirit behind product development at MacroActive. He believes exercise and good nutrition are essential to a healthy, full lifestyle. John himself has always been active, swimming competitively and competing in Ironman races. John is committed to helping trainers and coaches offer their unique programs and knowledge to their fans and clients, at scale. He is a strong family man who enjoys bringing up his two sons alongside his wife Sarah.
CORINNE TILLEYSHORT
Chief Customer Officer
Before officially joining MacroActive in January 2020, Corinne worked alongside us as a Consultant. She helped build systems around providing customer support at high volume to customers globally. We liked her work so much we had to have her full time!. Before consulting, Corinne worked for New Zealand's largest bank. She worked in leadership roles across retail, business and contact centre divisions. Her most recent role at the bank was Customer Experience Manager for New Zealand. Corinne is "customer-obsessed", and loves working with the team to focus on how to make our customers' lives easier while adding value.
JOHN FERNANDES
Chief Financial Officer
With 20 years of leadership experience across strategy and finance, John is a true Officer in the role. As head of strategy for the New Zealand Stock Exchange, John partnered with executive leaders to develop NZX’s own initial public offering. When it comes to the large financial decisions, John guides our executive team and board with measured calculation. John is particularly skilled at assessing risk, finding opportunities, and facilitating growth through acquisitions. He also applies his skills and expertise to help our top MacroMillionaires. He advises and offers outsourced Family Office services to our top clients.

ALEKSANDR ZHURAVLEV
Head of Engineering
Aleks joined MacroActive in early 2018. He was quickly promoted to head the engineering and development team and processes. With a Bachelor Honours Degree in Communication and Computer Engineering, Aleks has 15+ years of broad experience across DevOps and software development. He prides his work on service response times and stable, secure systems - 99.99% uptime since joining the team. He is an OpenSource enthusiast and a contributor to many open projects.
SALLY DE NORMANVILLE GUY
Head of Marketing Services
Sally has spent most of her career in big telco companies in both NZ and in the UK where she built a wealth of marketing experience and launched countless new technologies throughout the smartphone boom.
She brings her skills and innovative approach to the MacroActive and enjoys working with Marketing Services to improve performance and deliver growth for our top performing clients.
She likes to keep her mind and body fit through yoga and meditation and loves being involved with her girls busy school schedule as a 'wannabe dance mum' at hiphop competitions and as Y5 netball coach.
SAHAN HENDAHEWA
Senior Product Manager
Sahan handles leading and delivering on the company's product roadmap. He has worked with Ken for many years across several businesses. After a long recruitment courtship, in 2019 MacroActive had the delight of announcing that Sahan and his whole team of product specialists, would be joining MacroActive full time. Sahan's background is in product development, management and engineering.

Nutrition Development Projects
Emily is our previous in-house Dietitian and now working on high level nutrition development projects. From a young age, she has been passionate about all things health.
Growing up, she saw the power food has on optimal health and her interest grew exponentially since. As she has become more involved with nutrition, she has realized the joy of helping others live a healthier and happier lifestyle. Therefore, doing what she is today is a dream come true.
She studied Nutrition and Dietetics for 5 years where she learned the science behind food. She believes in eating delicious, whole, real foods, to make nutritious, tasty, balanced meals. Alongside MacroActive, she cannot wait to help turn this world into a happy, healthier place.
LEONARDO TOFONO
Business Development Manager - Brazil
Leonardo has over 30 years of experience in Business Development, Marketing and Customer Services in the Education, Construction, and Hospitality industries.
Before moving to New Zealand he started and operated Food Service businesses for Oil Rigs at the coats of Brazil. In New Zealand, his first business venture was an International Student Recruitment Agency where he developed the passion for complex sales process and customer support.
His most recent role was as a Property Developer and Project Manager.
Leonardo has always been passionate about outdoor activities, including surf, scuba diving, mountain biking, and hiking. Recently he’s developed the love for building, restoring, and sailing sailboats.
AGNELO VAZ
Business Development Manager
Aggi has always had a passion for health and fitness and was involved in many sports at a young age, including Cricket, football, Sprints and many more. He loves to stay fit and have been passionate about Gym. So far Aggi has competed a few times in Men’s Physique Bodybuilding shows and placed in top 5, and has a qualification as a Personal Trainer.
Aggi has recently joined MacroActive after having worked for Josef Rakich Fitness in a Customer Support role helping people around the world to live a healthy lifestyle. Aggi is now hoping to help other personal trainers build successful businesses like Josef Rakich while scaling their impact.
In his spare time, Aggi loves travelling, exploring new places meeting new like minded people and talking about fitness and health.
TOMAS FERNANDEZ
Head of Business Experience
Otherwise known as the Former Office Table Tennis Champion, Tomas joined us in August 2018 as a Client Account Manager. He worked mostly with our Spanish-speaking clients. Now he looks after all our trainers on the platform as the head of business customer experience. Tomas is a keen photographer, and has a deep passion for health and fitness. He's also the reigning champion of our lunch-time table tennis tournaments!
BRETT HARMAN

Brett is the Customer Experience Manager at MacroActive. Prior to joining us in February 2019, Brett spent 7 years working in the customer service industry. Brett was part of the core team that built up Josef Rakich Fitness. With his extensive background in customer service, combined with a keen interest in fitness and nutrition, Brett is an essential part of the MacroActive team.
KELLY DAY
Head of Onboarding
Kelly was recently promoted to the role of Onboarding Experience Manager after hanging up her cape as the office superhero! Previously, Kelly was the Executive Assistant to Ken Brickley, CEO and John Franich, Founder. She's the go-to for just about everything, with a great understanding of the business as a whole. If you ask Kelly has a huge passion on providing the best onboarding journey for our trainers. Kelly's background is in Office and Event Management. During her spare time, you'll usually find her scouting out new walking tracks or enjoying time away with her daughter and friends in the Bay of Islands.

Manny has been in the health and fitness industry for over 6 years providing Personal Training and Sports Nutrition services. As Fitness Lead, she guides trainers on the best approach to integrate their programs with our platform to maximise customer experience. As Client Success Manager, she assists all trainers in helping them scale their business and grow their revenue. Manny is passionate about health and wellbeing and enjoys competitive boxing in her spare time.

Alec has been with MacroActive since December 2018. As a former Personal Trainer, Alec has a deep understanding of fitness, client relationships, and delivering value. In 2020, Alec took on the role of Client Success Manager. His role is to mentor and guide our clients through their initial launch & business development. He also coaches our existing clients to scale their business & increase revenue. Alec has a strong passion for marketing and business development. He's here to help and advise our clients on growing a successful online business.

Stacey has always had a passion for health and fitness, and was involved in many sports at a young age, including Hockey and Karate (earning her Black Belt at only 16 years old!).
She studied Nutrition and Dietetics at Otago University, and is also a qualified Personal Trainer. She loves to help and encourage people to lead a healthy, active lifestyle.
She is very sociable and in her spare time enjoys exploring new hikes and beaches with friends.
LIVI KITSON
Fitness & Nutrition Specialist
Livi has been passionate about food, fitness, and health from a young age and studied Sport and Exercise Science and Nutrition and Dietetics at Massey University.
She played a number of sports growing up and has been teaching Les Mills group fitness classes for over five years. Livi loves to share her passion with others and helping them to live healthy lifestyles.
In her spare time she enjoys going away on weekend adventures, beach walks, fitness challenges and cooking.
MOLLIDY KEN
Client Success Manager
Mollidy has always been a creative and active person from childhood, you could catch her colouring in pictures or playing outside perfecting her cartwheels.
She studied Graphic Design and had always been a member of a gym since she was 16. After a 8 week trip exploring South East Asia in her early 20's, she decided to go on a venture co-owning a 24/7 gym for 5 years. She is excited to join the team MacroActive in 2021 and looks forward to seeing it continue to progress and grow.
Outside of work, she enjoys getting fresh air and exploring our beautiful backyard. On the flip side, she also loves a good Netflix and snacks session.

Onboarding Project Manager
Tian joined MacroActive in January 2019, after interning throughout his University degree. Following university, Tian came on full time as Account Manager. Recently, Tian was promoted to Onboarding Project Manager. He handles onboarding, preparing our new clients for launch, and making sure everything is ready to go live.

Jessie joined MacroActive on our very first day back in the office for 2020. She is a recent graduate from AUT with a degree in Sport & Recreation. Jessie is part of the Onboarding team, working alongside Tian & Elliot. She has a thorough understanding of nutrition and workout planning. Jessie is passionate about fitness and health, with a deep interest in sports marketing.
ZUBAYR SMITH
Onboarding Specialist
At school, Zubayr (also know as Zubbie) excelled in athletics, rugby and cricket resulting in a strong passion for health and well-being. He decided to take it a step further and graduated from Auckland University of Technology with a degree in Exercise Science. Aside from his sporting passions, Zubbie has a keen interest in travelling and has recently returned from a 2 month experience in Europe. Zubbie's intentions for the future, is to positively impact the community by encouraging realistic, healthy and sustainable lifestyle choices.
LEWIS RAKICH
Onboarding Specialist
Lewis has literally grown up in this industry watching his oldest brother, Josef Rakich, build a successful, multi-million dollar business helping people around the world with their diets and training programs. After spending several years working in customer support for his brother, Lewis joined MacroActive to help other personal trainers build successful businesses like his brother while scaling their impact. We're stoked he's on the team and still in the family! :)
FERNANDO THUMM
Marketing & Communications Specialist
Fernando joined MacroActive in September 2019, as the Team Leader of the Spanish Customer Support. Prior to this Fernando spent 11 years working in Chile as a Journalist in media and communication teams on International Organisations, like the UN Migration Agency and the WBCSD.
He is a mountain bike enthusiastic and former Photojournalist.
DANIELLA DEL CARPIO
Onboarding Specialist
Daniella has been passionate about fitness and nutrition since a very young age which is why she decided to get a certificate in Personal Training and has recently finished a Bachelor of Science specialising in Nutrition at the University of Auckland .
Nutrition is such an interesting topic to Daniella as the foods we eat can affect our body in so many different ways whether it’s physical, psychological and/or emotions, and she hope that she can help others with her knowledge and experience .
Daniella was involved in athletics when younger , she wanted to try something new so started weight training and that’s when the love and passion for bodybuilding was found. One of Daniella's biggest goals is to be on the Olympia stage .

Marketing Support Specialist
Natalia has a keen passion for health and nutrition and data-driven marketing. Prior to joining the team, Natalia worked for Loyalty New Zealand (Flybuys) executing multi-channel direct and digital marketing campaigns as well as in event management.
In her spare time, she can be found hiking, at the gym, or out with the horses.

Graphic Designer
Design wizard Mike Codling adds huge experience, enthusiasm and talent to our team. Trained as a classic illustrator, Mike is an award winning graphic designer, who has brought his long experience into the digital realm, producing some amazing designs. His visualisation and creative skills enrich our projects.
Based in Auckland, Mike is also a Boxing / personal trainer, at Boxing Alley.
In his spare time, Mike enjoys Art, Military History, model making and watching Netflix with his partner.

Design Support
While studying Charlize has been working part time for MacroActive since June 2020. She brings a creative flair to everything she does and brings a fresh new perspective to our design team. When not studying/working Charlize loves creating fashion, attends as many concerts as she can and is an avid gardener and dog whisperer.
AMANDA AGGIO
Office Manager
Amanda is an experienced professional and highly motivated, people person. Her achievements throughout her career include managing engagement with internal and external marketing suppliers, providing administrative support to a team of advisors or researching digital platforms during her master’s and doctoral degree. Amanda has built a wide range of transferable skills over the last years, which has equipped her to oversee MacroActive’s office management and take the lead as our Privacy Officer. Amanda’s commitment to physical and mental health also led her to be a Tai Chi instructor in her spare time.

Sarah has always had a keen interest in how social media can help people build businesses. She has worked in the health and fitness industry before and loves the impact trainers can have on clients. Sarah has her own podcast (The OneUp Project) which helps people to upskill so loves how she can transfer those skills to MacroActive. Outside of this you can find Sarah at the beach, with friends or out to eat!
